Overview
Grassrivers represents the boundless sub-tropical wilderness spanning central and southern Leonida. A sluggish sheet of shallow freshwater flowing continuously toward the coast, this primeval swamp is home to dense mangrove tangles, towering cypress hammocks, indigenous wildlife, and dangerous apex predators including alligators and panthers. In gameplay terms, Grassrivers is the ultimate proving ground for airboats, amphibious ATVs, and off-road survival. Navigating the unmarked swamp channels requires precision, as stranding a vehicle exposes players to wild fauna and difficult extractions. In the real world, Grassrivers is inspired by the Florida Everglades, described famously as the "River of Grass" by Marjory Stoneman Douglas, the largest subtropical wilderness in the United States.
